Listening to Ed Sheeran's Divide. This is my first Ed Sheeran CD. I only know a few of his songs because I am a Country Music lover, first and foremost. Look out Country Music, I really, really like (soon to love) this CD. It didn't cost as much on Ebay as in the stores and the CD was brand new. It plays perfect and I am enjoying it very much. Ed Sheeran is breaking his silence on the feud between his friend Taylor Swift and music mogul Scooter Braun.
After multiple celebrities have come to Swift's defense over her claims that Scooter Braun's acquisition of Big Machine Label Group (and with it, her entire existing catalog of music) came as an unwelcome surprise, fans were quick to question why Sheeran hadn't spoken up.
They took to his Instagram to question about why he remained silent amid the controversy. The 'Shape of You' singer has long been friends with Swift, who gave his early career a boost by collaborating on music in 2012 and asking Sheeran to open for her Red Tour in 2013.
One person gave him the benefit of the doubt in a lengthy comment, writing, 'Why don't you leave him in peace with that Taylor thing? Just because he didn't post anything it doesn't mean he is not supporting her, maybe he's talking with her right now, who knows. You aren't allowed to doubt their friendship just because he didn't say anything on the social, cause they're not real life. Maybe he's the one who has supported her the most, because they're best friends and he didn't waste time writing on Instagram what he could have said directly to her.'
Sheeran replied to the comment, writing, 'I have been speaking directly to her, like I always do.'
Swift penned a lengthy Tumblr post Sunday, calling the label deal her 'worst case scenario.' She also accused Braun of subjecting her to 'incessant, manipulative bullying' for years and 'controlling a woman who didn't want to be associated' with him.
